Biography
My Story
The Foundation
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I developed an early passion for technology and problem-solving. At Peterhouse Boys School I earned all A*s and As across IGCSE and A-Level, along with the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for the top IGCSE ICT result in Zimbabwe. That foundation set the stage for a career in computing.
The Technical Journey
At the University of Cape Town I completed a BSc in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, with distinctions in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and I'm now finishing a BSc Honours in Computer Science. My research benchmarks continuous-time against discrete-time spatio-temporal graph neural networks for weather forecasting. Outside the lecture hall I captained the AWS Cloud Club, served as Secretary General of the UCT Evolve CyberSec Society and ran events for the UCT Developers Society.
The Professional Evolution
Three years of internships and part-time engineering took me from Algorand smart contracts at Brighthouse Technologies and a first prize at the Algorand Blockchain Hackathon, to training Llama models and RAG pipelines at Reama AI, shipping .NET features at Fullstack and architecting a decentralised platform at Veritas Network. Today I'm an associate cyber security consultant at MWR CyberSec, running black-box web application penetration tests end to end.
