Blockchain transaction system for the Foodprint ecosystem
Project Overview
I created Foodprint Wallet as a backend web server that provides Algorand blockchain transaction capabilities to the Foodprint chatbot. My system includes all necessary endpoints and algosdk functionality to enable secure transactions on the blockchain.
In this project, I implemented FastAPI endpoints for querying transactions and managing chatbot operations, along with a YAML "wallet options" screen accessible from the main menu. Users can view their balance, send money, and withdraw funds through the interface I designed.
I connected the backend to the Algorand testnet for processing transactions, and included database integration for tracking user balances and transaction history. I also incorporated WhatsApp notifications through Twilio's API to keep users informed about their transactions.
